Compared with 2A50,
2014 aluminum square flat bars are both hard aluminum alloy and wrought aluminum alloy in terms of composition. Due to high copper content, they have higher strength and better thermal strength. However, their plasticity in thermal state is not as good as 2A50.Heat treatment can be strengthened with extrusion effect.
For applications requiring high strength and hardness (including high temperature).Heavy aircraft, forgings, thick plates and extruding materials, wheels and structural elements, first stage fuel tanks and spacecraft components for multistage rockets, and parts for truck frames and suspension systems.
