There are many kinds of oxidation surface of aluminum profiles, such as high temperature wood grain transfer printing, spray oxidation, coating film, etc.The oxide film of aluminum can protect the base of aluminum profile from corrosion, which is also the main reason for corrosion resistance of aluminum profile. The following are the methods for surface oxidation of
aluminum profiles?
Natural oxidation
Natural oxidation is to make
aluminum profile react with oxygen in the air.It forms aluminum oxide layer on the surface and makes the internal matrix react with oxygen to form a protective layer .The naturally oxidized film is not evenly distributed. For bad color and corrosion resistance , it is rarely used now.
Chemical oxidation
Chemical oxidation is puting
aluminum alloy profiles whose surface has been removed oil and ash into the oxidant and surfactant to react and finally form a layer of artificial oxidation film. The surfactant can partly dissolve the oxide film and produce pore, which makes oxidation continue to thicken of the oxide film layer.
Anodic oxidation
Anodic oxidation is putting aluminum in acidic electrolyte solution, as anode, by high voltage direct current (dc), make the anion move to the anode. And the new oxygen reacts with aluminum alloy to form oxide film .In the electrolyte, the acid can partially dissolve the oxide film, producing pores and allowing the oxidation reaction to develop in depth. This method makes the surface of aluminum form porous structure, which can be used for various color treatment, and as a substrate of spray paint . At present, many aluminum alloy enterprises are keen on anodic oxidation.
